Indian soldier kills three colleagues, then commits suicide

An Indian soldier opened fire at three fellow soldiers and then committed suicide in Udhampur District of Occupied Kashmir.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 21st March, 2019) The Indian soldiers are now taking the lives of their fellow soldiers.

According to details, an Indian soldier opened fire at three fellow soldiers and then committed suicide in Udhampur District of Occupied Kashmir.

The soldier of Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Ajit Kumar, shot down his colleagues killing all three of them at the 187 battalion unit in Battal Ballian area of the district, a police official said.

The dead soldiers have been identified as Head Constables Pokermal, Yogendra Sharma and Umed Singh.

Ajit then shot himself and was shifted to the hospital for treatment.

The unpreparedness and low morale of Indian Army was revealed with the recent escalations with Pakistan.

The Indian army is divided among castes and religions. The discrimination on the ethnic lines is one of the major reasons for the low morale of Indian Army.

Other than that, substandard food, lack of facilities and poor behaviour of higher officials towards low-grade soldiers are among other reasons for the lack of morale in Indian Army.

All of these reasons were revealed in a letter of Indian military intelligence.
