WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th February, 2019) The United States has imposed sanctions against four Venezuelan governors, the Department of Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced on Monday.
The US Treasury has sanctioned Ramon Carrizalez, the governor of the Venezuelan state of Apure, who served as vice president of Venezuela, and Jorge Garcia Carneiro, the governor of the state of Vargas, who previously served as the head of the Venezuelan Army and minister of defense.
The United States has also imposed sanctions on the governor in the Venezuelan state of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava, and governor of the state of Zulia, Omar Prieto.
