Ukrainian Defense Minister to Visit NATO Headquarters on February 13-14 - Press Service

A delegation of Ukraine's Defense Ministry, led by Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak, will visit NATO headquarters in Brussels on February 13-14, the ministry's press service announced on Wednesday

KIEV (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 13th February, 2019) A delegation of Ukraine's Defense Ministry, led by Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak, will visit NATO headquarters in Brussels on February 13-14, the ministry's press service announced on Wednesday.

"A delegation from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, led by Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak, will visit the NATO headquarters on February 13-14. The Ukrainian delegation will take part in the events at the meeting of the NATO North Atlantic Council (NAC) at the level of defense ministers of NATO member states," the press service said.

During the visit, Poltorak will hold a number of bilateral and multilateral meetings with other defense ministers from the NATO member states.

The NAC is the principal political decision-making body within NATO, which oversees the political and military affairs relating to security issues that affect the whole alliance. It brings together representatives from member states to provide consultation on security issues and to discuss policy and operational matters that require collective decisions.
