MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 05th February, 2019) Former President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai has commended a closed meeting as part of the intra-Afghan conference, which started in Moscow on Tuesday.
"It was a very good meeting and we will officially be meeting later on," Karzai said.
The conference of Afghan politicians on the settlement in the country is held in Moscow on February 5-6. The Russian Foreign Ministry told Sputnik earlier that this conference was convened by the Afghan diaspora, and it is not a part of the Moscow format of settlement process talks on Afghanistan.
