WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th January, 2019) Some incoming flights at New York's LaGuardia Airport have been delayed or halted due to staffing shortages amid the ongoing partial US government shutdown, the Federal Aviation Authority said on Friday.
"Due to ZDC + ZJX staffing (air traffic control) and other staffing, there is a Traffic Management Program in effect for traffic arriving La Guardia Airport, New York, NY (LGA). This is causing some arriving flights to be delayed an average of 41 minutes," the FAA said on its website.
