Trump Invites Congressional Leaders for Immigration Talks on Wednesday
WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 09th January, 2019) US President Donald Trump said he has invited Congressional leadership to the White House on Wednesday to negotiate a deal over the border wall and immigration.
"I have invited Congressional leadership for a meeting tomorrow," Trump said, adding that he plans to discuss the construction of physical barrier on the US southern border and the issue of immigration.
"I hope that we can rise above partisan politics."
Trump said law enforcement needs $5.7 billion to build a wall on the southern border.
