Car With Russian Diplomatic Plates Burned Down in Kiev Amid Naval Row - Reports
KIEV (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 26th November, 2018) A car with Russian diplomatic plates was burned down in the vicinity of the Russian embassy in Kiev late on Sunday, the Ukrainskaya Pravda online newspaper reported.
Earlier in the day, protesters gathered outside the Russian embassy in the Ukrainian capital to protest against Russia's response to three Ukrainian vessels breaching Russian waters in the Kerch Strait.
The incident with the car occurred near 14-a Yaroslav Khomov Lane, about one kilometer (0.62 miles) from the Russian embassy, the publication said.
Firefighters who arrived at the scene extinguished the fire.
The newspaper published the car plate numbers - DP 001 019. It specified that the DP 001 plates belong to cars of the Russian diplomatic mission, consular offices and members of the diplomatic staff.
