Anonymous Exposes UK's Hybrid Warfare Project to Interfere in Allies' Domestic Affairs

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd November, 2018) The United Kingdom has established a "large-scale information secret service" in Europe, the United States and Canada to interfere in other countries' domestic affairs, the Anonymous international hacktivist group said on Friday, citing obtained documents.

The group, in particular, said that the UK Integrity Initiative non-governmental organization, whose motto is "defending democracy against disinformation," was used by London to meddle in its "allies'" internal affairs.

According to the group, the Integrity Initiative project was operated by the UK authorities through "concealed contacts in British embassies.

Anonymous claimed that the project's Operation Moncloa, launched earlier this year in Spain, aimed to prevent Pedro Banos from being appointed the new head of Spain's intelligence office due to his pro-Russian sympathies. Other countries where similar operation were conducted were France, Germany, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Norway, Serbia, and Montenegro, according to the hackers.
