OSCE Chief to Arrive for 3-Day Visit in Moscow on Thursday
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 01st November, 2018) Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Secretary General Thomas Greminger will arrive on Thursday for a three-day visit in Moscow.
On Friday, Greminger will meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov with the parties set to discuss the ways of strengthening cooperation between the OSCE and Russia.
The previous meeting between Greminger and Lavrov took place on September 26 in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. The parties discussed the situation in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donbas, particularly, implementation of the Minsk ceasefire agreements, as well as preparations for the meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council that will be held in the Italian city of Milan on December 6-7.
