Istanbul Summit on Syria Set to Help Coordinate Stances, Find Common Grounds - Peskov

The upcoming summit on Syrian settlement, which Russian, Turkish, French and German leaders are set to hold in the Turkish capital of Istanbul on Saturday, will be an attempt to find common grounds and coordinate stances, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 26th October, 2018) The upcoming summit on Syrian settlement, which Russian, Turkish, French and German leaders are set to hold in the Turkish capital of Istanbul on Saturday, will be an attempt to find common grounds and coordinate stances, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.

"This is the first meeting in such a format. France and Germany have participated in discussions of Syrian crisis in a different regime, and now the point is to combine different formats in order to coordinate stances, in order to have a discussion, in order to find common grounds," Peskov told reporters.
