Italian Foreign Minister to Meet With Lavrov, Russian Trade Minister on Monday - Rome
Italian Foreign Minister Enzo Moavero Milanesi will meet with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov and with Russian Trade Minister Denis Manturov during the visit to Moscow on Monday, the press service of the Italian Foreign Ministry said Friday.
ROME (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th October, 2018) Italian Foreign Minister Enzo Moavero Milanesi will meet with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov and with Russian Trade Minister Denis Manturov during the visit to Moscow on Monday, the press service of the Italian Foreign Ministry said Friday.
Negotiations between the foreign ministers will allow the sides to discuss the most significant problems of bilateral relations, which the Italian Foreign Ministry called "very dynamic, both in economic, trade and cultural terms, as well as in political terms."
The ministers will be able to "assess the possibilities for further development, taking into account the mutual interest that characterizes the relations between Russia and Italy, as it has always been historically.

Among other issues, Lavrov and Milanesi will discuss the situation in the middle East as well as in Libya in terms of promoting security and stabilization in that country.
Milanesi is also expected to confirm the invitation for the Russian side to participate in the international conference on Libya, which will be held in Palermo on November 12-13.
In addition, Milanesi and Manturov will discuss preparations for the session of the Russian-Italian Council for Economic, Industrial and Currency-Financial Cooperation, which the two ministers are co-chairing.
