Russian, Syrian Foreign Ministers to Meet Friday on UNGA Sidelines - Syria's UN Envoy
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Syrian counterpart Walid Muallem will meet on Friday on the sidelines of the 73d UN General Assembly in New York, Syrian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Bashar Jaafari told Sputnik.
UNITED NATIONS (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 27th September, 2018) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Syrian counterpart Walid Muallem will meet on Friday on the sidelines of the 73d UN General Assembly in New York, Syrian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Bashar Jaafari told Sputnik.
"Tomorrow, the two ministers will meet," Jaafari said on Thursday referring to an upcoming meeting between Lavrov and Muallem.
Jaafari has just finished lengthy consultations with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin.
