RT Host, Documentary Featuring Cosmonaut Leonov Shortlisted for AIB Awards
The RT broadcaster's film dubbed "Earth 360: Documentary about space exploration," as well as RT host and correspondent Aliana Nieves were shortlisted for the 2018 AIB International Media Excellence Awards, according to a statement on the AIBs website.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th September, 2018) The RT broadcaster's film dubbed "Earth 360: Documentary about space exploration," as well as RT host and correspondent Aliana Nieves were shortlisted for the 2018 AIB International Media Excellence Awards, according to a statement on the AIBs website.
The film features Alexey Leonov, a two-time Hero of the Soviet Union and the first person to do a spacewalk, as well as NASA astronaut Thomas Stafford.
"Earth 360" will compete to win in the AIB Interactive category, while Nieves has been named as a finalist in the Breakthrough Talent category.
