MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 13th September, 2018) Russian citizens Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov, suspected by London of the poisoning of Russian ex-spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury, said in an interview to RT and Sputnik that they were concerned about own lives and those next of kin.

"We came here for protection, but it resembles interrogation ... After our lives have turned into a nightmare, we had no idea what we should do - should we go to the police, to the Investigative Committee, to the UK Embassy, to the FSB.

We were totally lost ... We cannot go out, we are scared ... We are concerned about own lives and those next of kin, those who know us," they said.

Petrov and Boshirov noted that they had decided to address media after Russian President Vladimir Putin had urged to do so, otherwise going to post a video asking for help.

"You know, we would post a video. We have never encountered media before, it would have been easier to express our feelings online," they said.
