Russia Registers Almost 30 Truce Breaches in Syria Over Past 24 Hours - Defense Ministry

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 09th September, 2018) The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission on the Syrian ceasefire has registered a total of 29 truce violations in Syria over the past 24 hours, while Turkey recorded five, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday.

"Over the last 24 hours, the Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered 29 cases of firing in the provinces of Aleppo (10), Hama (14), Idlib (2) and Latakia (3). The Turkish side has registered five cases of ceasefire violation in Idlib (4) and Hama (1) provinces," the ministry said in its daily bulletin.

According to the ministry, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides carried out two humanitarian operations in the Aleppo and Dara provinces. A total of 450 food packages have been delivered in Aleppo, while another 300 food sets have been distributed in Dara along with 900 sets of school supplies and children clothes.

Over 240 Syrians received medical aid over the past 24 hours, the ministry added.
