Russian Ombuswoman Says Sent Letter to US Attorney General Regarding Butina's Case

Russian High Commissioner for Human Rights Tatiana Moskalkova said that she had sent a letter to US Attorney General on Monday regarding criminal proceedings against Russian national Maria Butina, jailed in a US prison on suspicion of being a spy.

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 03rd September, 2018) Russian High Commissioner for Human Rights Tatiana Moskalkova said that she had sent a letter to US Attorney General on Monday regarding criminal proceedings against Russian national Maria Butina, jailed in a US prison on suspicion of being a spy.

"Of course, I have an action plan, and I am already implementing it. I have appealed to all international organizations - to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland, to the Council of Europe, OSCE and so on. I have also sent a letter to the US Attorney General today," Moskalkova told students of the Russian Foreign Trade academy.
