Chinese Private Company Says Completes Construction of ZQ-1 Carrier Rocket
The Chinese company LandSpace Technology Corporation said on Friday that it had completed creation of the ZQ-1 commercial carrier rocket.
BEIJING (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 31st August, 2018) The Chinese company LandSpace Technology Corporation said on Friday that it had completed creation of the ZQ-1 commercial carrier rocket.
The first launch of the new rocket is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2018, the company said in its account in the WeChat messaging app.
ZQ-1 is a three-stage carrier rocket with a length of 19 meters (over 60 feet) and the diameter of 1.35 meters. The takeoff weight of the rocket amounts to 27 tonnes.
The launch will carried out from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center located in the province of Gansu.
The rocket will be capable of placing small satellites into orbit.
