Serious Progress Made in Syrian Settlement Thanks to Interaction With Partners - Putin
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 24th August, 2018) Serious progress has been made in the resolution of the Syrian crisis thanks to cooperation with partners, including Iran and the United States, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Friday.
"Thanks to the efforts of our countries and with involvement of other interested states, in particular Iran, our cooperation with the United Nations, with European countries, with the United States, we managed to make serious progress in resolving the Syrian crisis," Putin said at a meeting with Turkish foreign and defense ministers Mevlut Cavusoglu and Hulusi Akar.
He said the Russia-Turkey relations are becoming more substantive, with Moscow and Ankara engaging in deep economic cooperation and in joint efforts to resolve the Syrian crisis.
