Pakistani rupee further weakens against US dollar

The USD is being traded at Rs 124.2 in the interbank market.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 24th August, 2018) The US Dollar has strengthened by 20 paisa against the Pakistani rupee.

After three Eid holidays, the Pakistani rupee saw a decline of 20 paisa against the USD.

Following the decline in PKR, the USD is being traded at Rs 124.2 in the interbank market.

The dollar index was recorded 16 points low, at 95.39.

Experts are of the view that if rupee continues to weaken against the US dollar, the country will see a surge in inflation.

Moreover, media reports said that the pakistan stock exchange saw a mixed trend on Friday. The 100-index was recorded at 42391 with a decrease of 33 points.
