MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd August, 2018) German Chancellor Angela Merkel will start on Thursday her two-day working visit to Georgia.
The German chancellor will be accompanied by the country's officials and the representatives of business community.
Merkel is set to meet with Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, President Giorgi Margvelashvili as well as opposition politicians.
Their talks will focus on bilateral relations, Georgia's economic development and cooperation with NATO, as well as on the 10th anniversary of the Georgian-Ossetian conflict and the ways to peacefully resolve the issue.
After visiting Georgia, Merkel will leave for Armenia and Azerbaijan.
