According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in PS-47 Mirpur Khas-I constituency with 33544 votes.
In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Jam Khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 26120 votes. The second runner up was National Awami Party candidate Ayaz Latif Palijo who got 14901 votes.
At least 40 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-47. In 2013 elections, there were 169793 voters registered in PS-47, out of which 64638 votes were polled out.
