According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate won in NA-226 Hyderabad-ll constituency with 46646 votes.
In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate PIR SHAFQAT HUSSAIN SHAH JILANI was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 82017 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (F) candidate SYED QURBAN ALI SHAH who got 47450 votes.
At least 23 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-226. In 2013 elections, there were 329640 voters registered in NA-226, out of which 192042 votes were polled out.
