According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in NA-71 Gujrat-lV constituency with 88588 votes.
In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Imran Khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 133224 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Obaid Ullah Khan Shadi Khel who got 73373 votes.
At least 12 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-71. In 2013 elections, there were 386930 voters registered in NA-71, out of which 222919 votes were polled out.
