Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi has won NA-53 with 92891 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-53 Islamabad-ll (ICT) constituency with 92891 votes.
In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Ghulam Sarwar khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 110593 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan who got 102430 votes.
At least 14 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-53. In 2013 elections, there were 382115 voters registered in NA-53, out of which 236524 votes were polled out.
