GCC participates in UN asset recovery conference
The General Secretariat of the GCC, represented by its Permanent Mission in Vienna and the Legislative and Legal Sector, has taken part recently in the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, Open-ended Intergovernmental Working Group on Asset Recovery, organised recently in Vienna.
RIYAD, (Pakistan Point News - 26th Jun, 2018) the General Secretariat of the GCC, represented by its Permanent Mission in Vienna and the Legislative and Legal Sector, has taken part recently in the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, Open-ended Intergovernmental Working Group on Asset Recovery, organised recently in Vienna.
An overview of progress made in the implementation of asset recovery mandates was presented during the meeting. Representatives of the states parties shed light on the major achievements made by their governments in implementing the agreement in their area of assets recovery, the prominent good practices and the challenges thy encounter.
