COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Australian CDF discuss security cooperation
Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Australia, Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa here on Tuesday and discussed with him matters of bilateral interests with emphasis on security related matters.
Rawalpindi, (Pakistan Point News - 5th Jun, 2018) : Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Australia, Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa here on Tuesday and discussed with him matters of bilateral interests with emphasis on security related matters.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the meeting held at GHQ, Australian CDF Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin exchanged views with COAS Gen Bajwa on issues of mutual interest including defence and security cooperation between both the countries and overall regional security situation.
The visiting dignitary acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan Army's sincere efforts and sacrifices in war against terrorism and for stability in the region. Earlier on arrival at GHQ, Australian CDF, laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented the Guard of Honour to Australian CDF.
