Notary Public services made available at Abu Dhabi’s DED

ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 03rd Jun, 2018) The Abu Dhabi Juridical Department, ADJD, today issued licences to two employees of Abu Dhabi's Department of Economic Development, DED, to work as Notary Public officers.

The move, the first of its kind as per the Local Law No. 11 of 2017, was taken in line with the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the ADJD, and the objectives of and Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 aimed at meeting the requirements of the rapid development taking place in the emirate.

The two officers sworn-in before Yousif Al Abiri, ADJD Under-Secretary, and Yousif Al Hosany, Director of Courts and Customers Support Sector at ADJD.

Al Abiri said that the Notary Public is very instrumental in building trust and confidence in the emirate’s justice system and increasing the UAE competitiveness worldwide.

Appointing these two new Public Notary officers is a part of one vision aimed at improving ADJD’s performance and making its services hassle-free and available everywhere, he said.
