Wife dead, husband injured in road mishap, protest held against murder of youth

BUREWALA, (Pakistan Point News - 30th Jan, 2018) : A woman died while her husband was critically injured in road accident here on Tuesday. Protest demonstration was held against the killing of youth in alleged police encounter.
Police said that a newlywed couple riding a motorcycle was on its way to Okara from Burewala when an over speeding truck crushed them near Adda Rasoolpur at Lahore Road. As a result of accident the wife identified as Adeeba died on spot while Junaid s/o Ashraf was seriously injured.
The body and injured were shifted to THQ Hosptial Burewala for medico-legal formalities.
Parents and villagers protested against the killing of youth Zaheer Babar of Chak No. 132/EB in a police encounter at Renala Khurd.
Babar was running a samosa shop at Renala Khurd for last two and a half year and the police killed him in a fake encounter. Meanwhile, two wicked youth allegedly molested five-year-old Huzaifa Sabir, while he was on his way to home from school at Chak No.
128/EB, Burewala. The boy shifted to THQ Hospital. Separate cases into all incidents have been registered at concerned police stations and investigation was underway.
