MULTAN, (Pakistan Point News - 10th August, 2016) : District Coordination Officer Nadir Chatha has said that 20 relief camps have been set up to facilitate flood victims. He said that all departments concerned have set up camps there while the district government has finalised all arrangements to handle any flood-like situation.
The DCO expressed these views while presiding over a meeting with administrative officials here on Wednesday. He said that there was no information about big flood wave in river Chenab, adding that three lakh cusecs water would remain within the river limits. The DCO appealed to the people living in flood-prone areas to shift to safer places.
