PESHAWAR (Pakistan Point News - 9th August, 2016) : Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani has suspended an ASI with immediate effect on charges of keeping a citizen in illegal confinement and misuse of power and further ordered departmental action against him.
According to details a citizen of Peshawar has complained to the IGP that ASI Sadaqat Khan of Police Station Regi has kept his brother in illegal confinement and mentally tortured him. The IGP inquired the allegations through concerned senior police officers and find the allegations based on facts.
The IGP in light of the report of senior police officers suspended ASI Sadaqat Khan with immediate effect and further ordered departmental inquiry against him.
