OIC Condemns Suicide Attack In Nigeria

JEDDAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2017 ) : General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the recent suicide bomb attack at a mosque in northeast Nigeria that killed at least eight people and injured many others.

Extending his solidarity with Nigeria in its fight against terrorism and extremism, the OIC Secretary General Dr Yousef Al-Othaimeen offered his sincere condolences to the families of the victims, government and people of Nigeria on the tragic loss of lives and wished a quick recovery to the injured.

Dr Al-Othaimeen reiterated the principled position of the OIC against all forms of terrorism and extremism and repeated his call for international solidarity in the fight against the scourge of terrorism. APP/IINA/meh/anm
