Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has sent a message to Grenadian Prime Minister Keith Mitchell to congratulate him on his re-election.
BEIJING, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2018 ) :Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has sent a message to Grenadian Prime Minister Keith Mitchell to congratulate him on his re-election. In his congratulatory message dated March 16, Li said Grenada is a crucial country in the Caribbean region that plays a unique role in global and regional affairs.
Since re-establishing ties in 2005, the two nations have developed favorable bilateral relations, achieved results through pragmatic cooperation in all areas, and brought tangible benefits to the two peoples, Li added.
Li said he is willing to work with Mitchell to further consolidate political mutual trust between the two sides, maintain and enhance pragmatic cooperation in all areas, and continuously advance bilateral ties. Mitchell led the New National Party to a victory in Grenada's general election on March 13.
