HOLLYWOOD, United States, , (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2017 ) - Casey Affleck won the Oscar for best actor on Sunday for his searing role as a manmarked by tragedy in the family drama "Manchester by the Sea." Affleck beat out a crowd that included Ryan Gosling of themusical "La La Land" as well as Andrew Garfield for "Hacksaw Ridge," Viggo Mortensen for "Captain Fantastic" and Denzel Washington for "Fences."
