South Korea's cyber threat level for public organizations will return to normal for the first time in more than two years on Tuesday, a source said.

The government has a five-tier cyber security alert system, which is currently set at the second-lowest, "watch.
" It will be lowered by one notch to normal as of 6 p.m., the source told Yonhap news Agency.
This marks the first time that the threat level has returned to normal since January 2016 when it was ratcheted up to the current status. The National Intelligence Service is in charge of the cyber threat system.
