Heat Wave To Subside In Karachi From Thursday: Met Office

The current heat wave in Karachi would subside from Thursday dipping the temperature from above 40 degree to 35 - 37 degree for next few days.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2018 ) :The current heat wave in Karachi would subside from Thursday dipping the temperature from above 40 degree to 35 - 37 degree for next few days.
Overall above normal temperatures are being observed in the country which may lead to severe weather conditions for next two weeks in the country. Spokesman Pakistan Meteorological Department, Dr.
Khalid Mahmood Malik, said due to high temperature pre-monsoon is expected from mid of June while monsoon would also likely to advent in last week of June. "This year mostly normal rains are forecast during the monsoon but more rains are likely in upper Punjab, Khaber Pakhtunkhwa and northern parts of the country whereas less showers are predicted in Southern parts of the country".
This year the rainy season may be divided into two parts, he informed adding, during the first span more rains are predicted while in the later one less wet spells may hit various parts of the country.
Moreover, he said, for last few years normally the rainy season continued without breaks however despite this pattern, this year showers with observable breaks may be expected in the country. During the breaks, he said, due to high temperatures and more humidity, unpleasant weather with severity in heat may also be expected which result in severity of weather conditions during the current summer season.
