PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2018 ) :The Provincial Met Office Saturday forecast partly cloudy weather for most parts in KP and FATA. However rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Shangla, Swat, Chitral, Upper and Lower Dir, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram, Kohistan districts and FATA (Kurram agency) for next 24 hours.

The Met Office predicted mainly dry weather for most parts of the region for next 48 hours. Wide spread rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds and snow at hills occurred in Hazara, Malakand, Mardan, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, DI Khan Divisions and FATA (Mohmand, Bajour, Kurram, Khyber, Orakzai North and South Waziristan Agencies).

Rain recorded in Kakul 65 mm, Pattan and Malam jabba 46, Balakot 36, Cherat 32, Peshawar and Upper Dir 26, Risalpur and Saidu Sharif 25, Kalam and Mir Khani 22, Timergara 16, Kohat 10, Drosh 05, Chitral 03, Bannu 02, Parachinar 01 mm. Similarly, snow recorded at Dir 02 and Kalam 01 in inch.
