Bahawalpur receives rain, ends smog

Bahawalpur and its suburbs received much awaited and much needed rain Tuesday. The rain has mitigated the smog and the temperature has dropped down to 12 degrees Celsius

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Nov, 2017 ) :Bahawalpur and its suburbs received much awaited and much needed rain Tuesday. The rain has mitigated the smog and the temperature has dropped down to 12 degrees Celsius.

The rain started at midnight and continued till morning.

According to Dr Arif Zaidi of Quaid-e-Azam Medical College Bahawalpur, the rain has not only brought the end the dangerous smog but also end the viral diseases caused by smog. Cholistan also received rain where water has accumulated in Tobas and Kunds (water ponds).
