Weather Turns Pleasant After Downpour In KP

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2017 ) : The weather turned pleasant on Wednesday in most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after moderate rain in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, DIKhan divisions and Kurram, Mohmand and Khyber Agencies in FATA.

The Met Office has forecast partly cloudy weather for most parts of the region for next 24 to 48 hours with chances of rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds at scattered places in DIKhan, Tank, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Abbottabad, Haripur, Manshera, Battagram, Kohistan, Torghar, Lower & Upper Dir, Chitral, Buner, Malakand, Swat and Shangla districts and and Kurram, Khyber, Orakzai, Bajour, Mohmand, South and North Waziristan agencies in FATA.

The weather remained hot and dry in Southern districts of the province during last 24 hours with maximum temperature 39C recorded in DI Khan, followed by 37C in Chitral, Bannu, Risalur, Kohat and Peshawar. The chief amount of rainfall was recorded as: Peshawar 2mm, Balakot 12, Cherat 23, Dir 2, Malamjab 7, Kakul 27, Saidu Sharif and Parachinar 6.
