GP Inaugurates Police Mobile App System For Assistance Of People

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Mar, 2018 ) :Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakthunkhwa, Salahuddin Khan Mehsud here Thursday inaugurated police mobile application (app) to quickly help and assist people during emergency situation with help of IT aimed at to provide better service delivery to masses.

The new system would help ensure quick access of complainants to police during cases of emergency such as explosions, accidents, disputes, dacoity and robbery etc, which could be swiftly countered through mobile app system.

According to KP police spokesman, new ideas are being introduced to further improve police standard in the province.

The crime ratio has significantly decreased in KP this year against last year due to introduction of quality research, development and use of technology in police force.

The mobile police app would be extremely beneficial in curbing crimes besides establishing close liaison and harmony between people and police. The police would quickly know about crime's site through Google map by clicking the play store button on any android mobile phone and officials of concerned police station would quickly reach to the crime site for assistance of people.
