The agriculture department Mianwali has registered 34,934 farmers so far for issuance of Kissan cards through its extension services programme

MIANWALI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jan, 2018 ) :The agriculture department Mianwali has registered 34,934 farmers so far for issuance of Kissan cards through its extension services programme.

According to Deputy Director Agriculture Malik Ijaz Ahmed, the agriculture department has been directed for registration of 60,000 farmers till June 30 for which staff of the district agriculture department was performing duties.

He said that over 75,000 farmers in the province would be provided the latest technology mobile-phones through balloting for information of soil preparation, weather conditions, usage of fertilizers, pesticides, market rates and other facilities through the online system of the provincial government.
