As the first Gulf country to forge a strategic partnership with China, the UAE has enjoyed a prosperous financial cooperation with China over many years.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and President Xi Jinping, of the People's Republic of China, witnessed, today, the signing of a wide ranging Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement that extends and deepens the strategic energy partnership between the United Arab Emirates and China.
