Japan considers the call of UN experts to protect workers decontaminating the damaged Fukushima Daichi Nuclear Power Station from possible exploitation and misinformation "regrettable," the UN statement is based on one-sided information, Japan's Permanent Mission to the International Organizations in Geneva said on Friday

The UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has called on the Japanese authorities to protect the more vulnerable workers currently decontaminating the damaged Fukushima Daichi Nuclear Power Station, including migrant workers and homeless people, because they were reportedly being exploited and misinformed about the potential risks of being exposed to harmful nuclear radiation.

Japanese researchers at the Fukushima Robot Test Field have conducted tests on a device designed to deliver freight into space using cables, local media reported on Wednesday.
