Golf: Streb matches record-low major round with 63 at PGA

SPRINGFIELD, United States, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th july,2016) - American Robert Streb matched the record-low 18-hole score in major championship golf history Friday with a seven-under par 63 in the second-round of the PGA Championship at Baltusrol.

Streb became the 30th player to shoot a 63 in a major by sinking a birdie putt at the par-3 ninth, his final hole of the round after starting on the back nine, to finish 36 holes in a share of the lead at nine-under par 131 with countryman Jimmy Walker.
