IHC Rejects Bail Of Accused Involved In Millions Fraud

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th july, 2016) : The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Friday rejected pre-arrest bail application of the accused involved in the fraud of millions. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani rejected the bail due to non appearance of the accused. Khurram Mehmood counsel for the Zubair said that accused fraudulently fetched Rs.

13 millions from my client against properties but later neither property nor actual amount was returned to Zubair. He said accused was habitual criminal as he was many times found ways to not appear before the court and remained obsconder to avoid arrest or prosecution in other cases and requested to reject the bail. Counsel for the accused informed the bench that his client wanted to appear before the cout but his father was admitted in the hospital and he had to care of his father. After going through the arguments the bench rejected bail application.
