CTO Urges Parents To Stop Kids From One-wheeling To Save Precious Lives

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th july, 2016) : Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Tayyab Hafeez Cheema Friday urged parents to protect precious lives of their children by stopping them from doing one-wheeling. Talking to APP, Tayyab Cheema said that a campaign had been launched to create awareness among people about dangers posed by wheelie.
He said that he had directed the anti-wheelie squad to collect video and other evidence against bikers, so that stern action could be taken against those violating the law. The City Traffic Police (CTP) were utilising all available resources besides taking solid measures against those involved in one-wheeling, he added.
He said that patrolling on all important roads had been started, adding that strict action against the elements involved in violating laws, would be taken. "Traffic sector In-charges have also been directed to brief the traffic wardens so that they could educate motorcyclists besides taking action against one-wheeling." The CTO further said that for controlling the menace of one-wheeling, the City Traffic Police would arrange special duty on different places of the city.
