KP IGP Orders Registering Of FIR In Alleged Physical Voilence Case

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th july, 2016) : Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani taking strong exception of the alleged molestation and violence against a woman in Matta Daroshkhela Swat on Friday directed the police of a area to register FIR against the accused and ensure his arrest with immediate effect. According to official release issued here, news about the incident was in some national newspapers. The IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa took strong notice of the news and strictly directed the Swat police highups to tighten the noose around the neck of the person involved in the case by registering FIR against him and ensure his arrest at the earliest.
The IGP also demanded a detailed report of the action taken in this case.
The Swat police in the light of the directives of the IGP not only registered FIR against the accused but also arrest him and recover weapon of offence from his custody and started further investigation in the matter.
