Additional budget required for research, development:Tanvir

ISLAMABAD, Feb 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Feb, 2017 ) : Federal Minister for Science and Technology Rana Tanvir Hussain has said that there was an additional budget required for research and development work.

Talking to a private television channel, he said the allocated budget was not sufficient for research.

"We have asked an additional budget from finance ministry for development in the research work, " he said.

He said the institutions were not functioning properly when the government came into power. He, however, said there was still need to have some additional amount for achieving progress in the research work.
