DC Reviews Arrangements For Independence Day Celebrations

MITTHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th july,2016) : Deputy Commissioner Tharparker Shazad Tahir Thahim has said that Independence Day will be celebrated with zeal, fervor and national enthusiasm throughout the district on August 14, 2016. He said this while presiding over a meeting to review the arrangements for Independence Day celebrations at his office here on Friday. The Deputy Commissioner directed all the concerned officers to finalize the arrangements regarding celebrations of Independence Day on 14th August 2016.

The DC also directed to all Assistant Commissioners of the district to organize Independence Day programs in their respective Tehsils and to remain in close liaison with officers of education and sports departments.

He also urged the heads of Provincial and Federal government departments, managements of banks and other autonomous bodies for conducting illumination and hoisting Pakistani flag on their buildings to mark the Independence Day.

The Deputy Commissioner directed officers of the Education Department to hold celebrations of Independence Day programs in educational institutions in their respective areas.

He urged the peoples from all walks of life to celebrate the 14th August with zeal and cooperate with the administration in commemorating the national Independence Day in befitting manner. The DC directed Police officers to ensure full security measure during the celebrations of Independence Day.

He also directed concerned District officers to take measures for the cleanliness at all public places particularly hospitals in the districts. DC further directed to the ACs to distribute fruits and sweets among the prisoner in the Jail on Independence Day. The meeting among others was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner-II Nisar Ahmad Memon, Assistant Commissioners, TMOs and all other concerned officers of the District
