7 Arrested For Illegal Drying Of Cattle Blood

PESHAWAR, Feb 2 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Feb, 2017 ) : District administration has arrested seven persons for illegally drying of the blood of cattle. The operation was conducted on reports of the illegal drying of blood of cattle and its use as feed for broiler.
Taking notice of the matter, the Additional Assistant Commissioners (AACs), Sohail Aziz and Syed Shahzeb along with Assistant Director, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Syed Faridullah Shah and Monitoring Inspector, Naveed Anjum inspected the spot used for drying blood at Hazarkhwani.
During the raid they found the illegal drying of blood near solid waste dumping station at Hazarkhwani, while different surgical instruments including syringes, drips and other used items in different hospitals were utilized as fuel making the people vulnerable to different diseases.
Expressing anguish over the situation, the officials of district administration and EPA arrested 7 persons and shifted them to prison. The arrested persons will action under Environmental Protection Act, 2014.
