KP Secretary Home Inspects Central Jail Peshawar

PESHAWAR, Feb 2 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Feb, 2017 ) : Secretary Home, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shakil Qadir along with Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Prisons, Riaz Ali Shah make a detail visit of Central Jail Peshawar on Thursday.
On this occasion, the Secretary Home was also accompanied by Superintendent Central Jail Peshawar, Masood-ur-Rehman, Executive Engineer (EXN), Sohail Idrees, Resident Engineer, NESPAK, Nooraz Gul and Regional Manager.
During the visit, the Secretary Home was given detailed briefing regarding the problems of Central Jail and future projects. The Secretary Home also met the inmates and heard their problems. He inspected the construction work on new jail and directed the acceleration of the pace of work on it to resolve the overcrowding problem of the central jail.
He also directed the preparation of plan for the training of the staff as soon as possible.
